Arms : Per pale azure and argent, on a fesse counterchanged between in dexter chief and base an open book proper, garnished Or, and in sinister chief and base a pair of compasses of the first, a like pair of compasses and book.

Motto: Via media exempli gratia.

The arms were officially granted on December 3, 1954 to the Society of Building Surveyors Limited.
