Origin/meaning
The arms show the symbols of the patron saints of the village, St. Paul (sword) and St. Peter (key). The linden tree is taken from the arms of the district of Laupen, to which the village belongs. The arms were devised in 1922 and officially adopted in 1944.
Literature: Wappenbuch des Kantons Bern, 1981.
