Origin/meaning
The arms are in use since 1903, but were not officially granted until 1965.
The double cross is taken from the arms of the Abbey of Denkendorf, which has been very important in the history of the village. The two letters D stand for Dorf Denkendorf.
Before 1903 the village used seals since 1717. These seals showed a shield with in the right half a church and in the left half (second quarter) the three deer antlers of Württemberg above a crosier in the fourth quarter.
