Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 30, 1969 and confirmed in 1983.
The wall anchor is taken from the coat of arms of the Lords of Helfenberg, who ruled over the town in the Middle Ages until they sold the bailiwick to their feudal lords, the Counts of Nassau, in 1314.
The "Stautzweck" is the traditional Eibelshausen New Year's cake.
