Département : Bas-Rhin
French |
D'argent au lion d'azur; à la bande d'or brochante. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were first mentioned in the Armorial of the Bas-Rhin region from 1861. The arms are derived from the arms of the Counts of Lützenburg, who ruled the area until 1110 and are thus the oldest known Lords of Saint-Jean Saverne.
