Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 21, 1983.

Isona i Conca Dellà is a Pyrenean municipality created in 1970 with the former ones of Isona (its chief town), Benavent de la Conca, Conques, Figuerola d'Orcau, Orcau and Sant Romà d'Abella. The two fountains are the traditional sign of Isona, and the eight golden roses are taken from the arms of the Orcau family, that were lords of several villages in the municipality.
