Official blazon

Arms : Quarterly Or and gules, a cross flory between the first and fourth quarters a fleur-de-lid and in the second and third quarters a fret, all counterchanged.
Motto : Fide et diligentia

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 18, 1930.

The arms have been composed from those of the various holders of the Manor of Woking. The fret is from the Spencer arms, the fleur de lys from the arms of the Dukes of Somerset and the cross from the attributed arms of Edward the Confessor.
