History: First formed in 1942 at Royal Naval Air Station Palisadoes, Jamaica as a Torpedo-Bomber-Reconnaissance Squadron. reforemd 1944-1947 for HMS Glory in the Far East.

Origin/meaning
The Chinese Dragon alludes to service in the Far East. The Badge was approved in 1947.
