German Ein im Schildfuß durch Wellenlinie geteilter grün-silberner Schild enthält oben einen nach rechts aufsteigenden goldenen Geißbock, unten einen nach rechts gewendeten roten Fisch.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 19, 1968.

The upper half of the arms is canting, a goat (Gais in the local dialect) on a green field (Au). The base shows a fish and symbolises the (former) importance of fisheries for the municipality and especially the village of Wettler.
