TOURAINE
French | D'azur semé de fleurs de lis d'or; à la bordure componée d'argent et de gueules. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The mail filed with the fleur-de-lis is derived from the French Royal arms. The bordure is derived from the arms of the Basilica of St. Martin in Tours, the capital of Touraine. The arms are now used by the département Indre-et-Loire.
