In Blau die gelbe Krümme eines Abtstabes mit wehendem weissem Velum (Schweisstuch) an gelbem Anhänger und mit gelben Quasten.

The arms were officially granted on January 6, 1952.

The arms show the upper part of a crosier, symbol of St. Germanus, patron saint of Abtwil.
