Origin/meaning

The Bend symbolises the Name Ticonderoga which is an Iroquois Word meaning between two Waters. The Four Star symbolises the previous four Ships that has carried the Name. The Embattled Chief with the Lion symbolises the capture of Fort Ticonderoga from the British during the War of Independence. The Crest symbolises the AEGIS System.
