Stema Mândra

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 28, 2010.

The wheat ears and the trophy with buffalo horns symbolize the basic occupations of the inhabitants, agriculture and animal husbandry, and the number of ears represents the villages in the municipality.

The cross symbolizes the Orthodox Church - a historical monument, dating from 1779.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
