Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 21, 1975.

The lion is taken from the historical seal of Oberpullendorf. The plough and wheatears are taken from the seal of Mittelpullendorf. The base shows a city wall. This does not indicate any historical fortification, but symbolises the elevation to the level of city in 1975.
