HÂRȘOVA

District/county (județ) : Constanța

Stema Hârșova

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 18, 2002.

The anchor in the right corner signifies a symbol of strength, peace and hope, and the fragment of the cogwheel above it expresses the development of an industry related to the naval field.

The rocks and the fortress have guarded and defended the town throughout history. The water at the bottom represents the Danube, on the bank of which is the city.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers attests to the fact that the settlement is a city.
