Un scut triunghiular verde cu marginile rotunjite, încărcat cu un acăț (salcâm) dezrădăcinat, înflorit, de argint. În partea inferioară care corespunde vârfului scutului se află un brâu undat de argint, având poziționate deasupra lui, la dreapta - un disc de aur, iar la stânga - o turtă-monedă, negru cu argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 26, 2014.
The acacia tree represents the toponym of Acățari and Gruișor locality, and the green background is representative for the forested localities Stejeriș and Suveica.
The solar disk alludes to the name of the village Roteni and to the wheat culture.
The bicoloured circle refers to the name of the villages of Cobești, Găiești, Murgești and to the ancient numismatic archeological pieces, discovered in the territory.
The wavy bar is a local decorative motif and symbolizes the tributaries of the Mureș River that crosses the locality, as well as the village of Văleni.
The mural crown with a crenellated silver tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.Literature:
