Wapen: Gevierendeel, hoekig deursnede, die pieke afgesnede, I, in goud 'n hoog vlieende aasvoel van natuurlike kleur; II, in blou in die linkerkanton 'n uitkomende halwe goue son; III, in groen 'n omgekeerde maroelatakkie geblaar en gevrug van goud; IV, in goud 'n afgesnede rooi bulkop met silwer horings. Die skild is oortop van 'n goue muurkroon.

The arms were granted on ??

The flying vulture in the first quarter represents the municipality's aspiration to excel and shine in its activities and achieve its objectives, the sun in the second quarter represents the hope, the Marula and the cow represent the agricultural character of the municipality.
