Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat de argint. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află un clopot cu cruce de aur, flancat dreapta-stânga de câte o amforetă de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un mănunchi de patru spice de grâu de aur, legat cu o panglică. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 20, 2011.

The bell and the amphorae refer to the Balaciu Monastery, a historical monument, and to the archeological discoveries in the area.

The wavy bar refers to the Ialomița river, which crosses the locality.

Wheat ears symbolize the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture and the number of component villages.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.Literature:
