BHARATPUR JASWANT HOUSHOLD INFANTRY, BHARATPUR

History: originally raised as a Bodyguard to the Rulers of Bharatpur. In 1921 it was named Bharatpur Jaswant Household Infantry. In 1928 it was organised as an Indian State Forces Unit. During the Wolrd War I it served in East Africa.
