Escudo de ouro, com um açor segurando nas garras uma presa, tudo de sua cor; em chefe, três amoras de verde alinhadas em faixa; em contra-chefe, ponte de balaústres, de dois arcos, de vermelho, moventes dos flancos e de um pé ondeado de azul e prata. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda em maiúsculas de negro : “ VALE DE AÇOR “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 3, 1998.

The chief refers to the three mulberry trees planted in the village in 1914. The goshawk (açor) is a canting symbol.

The base shows the bridge over the Sor river, which connects the two parts of the parish.
