Origin/meaning
The tower and the blue field are taken from the arms of the La Tour-de-Saint-Igest family, former lords of the village. Tour means tower. The roses refer to St. Theresa of Lisieux, the patron saint of the village. They also represent the 9 hamlets in the municipality.
