SKIERNIEWICE
Province: Łódź
County: Skierniewice
Polish | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms have been used on the seals of the city since the 16th century. The meaning is not clear; the fleur-de-lys are probably derived from the arms of the Archdiocese of Gniezno, to which the city belonged in medieval times.
