Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on October 9, 2023.
The wavy bar symbolizes the Armance river which crosses the municipality, the two wheels symbolizing the (former) water mills in the river.
The upper half symbolises the Soumaintrain cheese produced in the village since the Middle Ages and holder of an IGP (certification of origin). The cheese is decorated with a cross, taken from a large cross in the municipality dating from 1548 and a listed monument.
The base shows St. Martin of Tours, the patron saint of the local church.
