Sini-kultakatkoisessa kilvessä pystyyn kavahtanut musta, punavaruksinen kruunupäinen karhu, joka pitää kämmenissään hopeista miekkaa; kruunu ja miekan kahva kultaa; saatteena karhun molemmin puolin yläkentässä seitsensakarainen hopeatähti. Kruunu on herttuakunnan kruunu.

The arms were granted on ??

Satakunta was one of the oldest regions of Finland and was merged in 1648 to form the County of Tuku and Pori (since 1809 a province), which in 1997 was merged to the new province of Länsi-Suomi. In 2009 Satakunta was re-established as a region.

The arms are the historical arms from the 17th century.
