В рассеченном червленом (красном) и лазоревом (синем, голубом) поле на серебряном цоколе, обремененном девятью шарами в цвет поля и тонко окаймленном вверху золотом - три серебряных здания, из которых среднее выше, увенчано остроконечной кровлей и ниже кровли обременено золотой линией в столб; правое - увенчано дымоходом, из которого выходит серебряный дым; а левое сопровождено вверху шестью (одним, двумя, одним и двумя) брусками того же металла.

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on November 24, 1998.

The arms are officially described as divided in maroon-red and blue, but the official imges shows more an orange-golden field. The red stands for the colour of blood and refers to the heroic history of the city, and the battles during the second world war.
The blue symbolises Lake Hanka, which is close to the city.

The silver figure is a Portland Cement, as the cement industry is the main industry in the town and important for the whole region.
