Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on January 20, 1986.
The main charge of the arms is a cross. The original can be found on the roof of the Pestkapelle (the plague chapel). The horseshoes were taken from the seal of Friedel the Judge (1382). The colours are to denote the colonization by Bavarians and are those of Bavaria (Bayern).
