Official blazon

I blått fält ett stolpvis ställt svärd av silver med en krona av guld uppträdd omkring klingan samt åtföljd på vardera sidan av en sexradig kornplanta av guld.

Origin/meaning

Assumed on 12 April 1956, but not officialy approved. The Sword and Crown symbolises the Struggle for the Crown of Sweden, and especialy the Battles at Lena in 1208 anf Gestilren 1210.
The Ears of Corn is form the Seal of the Hundred of Vartofta. The Arms was designed by Svenska kommunalheraldiska institutet (Swedish Institute of Municipal Heraldry).
