3RD SAPPER REGIMENT, POLISH ARMY
Origin/meaning
The Shield shows the Arms of Vilnius (Polish Vilno) St Christopher carrying the Child Jesus. During the Interwar years Vilnius was part of Poland, and the Regiment was based in the City.
