D’or, chaussé d'azur semé de fleurs de lys d’or au chevron renversé et ondé d’argent brochant sur le tout du chaussé.

Origin/meaning

The Pile symbolises the first letter of the Name of the Department. The Semee de Lys is from the Arms of Ile d'France. The Wavt symbolises the confluence of the Rivers Marne and Seine. The arms was designed by Robert Louis.
