Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on September 30, 1976.

The arms are derived from the arms of Adrien François Valentin, du Carieul, Lord of Beaurains, who, in 1750, granted a large part of his estate to the villagers of Beaurains to establish a new church and cemetery. The arms may be surrounded by a mural crown and the cross of the 1914-1918 war, which was granted to the village on September 23, 1920.
