Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 7th April 1989.
Canting arms: they show a hill with an ox above (in Catalan named respectively "mont" and "bou"). These are the arms of the barons of Montbui, lords of the village; the baron's crown reminds that Santa Margarida was the centre of a barony.
