Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1963 and show a key, symbol of St. Peter, patron saint of the local church in Pfaffenhoffen.

The three lions are the symbol of Picardie, as many of the inhabitants of the village descend from refugees from the Picardie that settled in Uberach after the 30-years war.
