Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on April 30, 1997.
The upper half shows the arms of the Bage(t) family, medieval lords of the village. The three bottles are taken from the arms of the Bouthillon family (bouteille=bottle), mayors of the village in the early 19th century. The tree refers to the tree plane tree planted in the village in 1801. The blue wavy bar refers to the Saône river.
