Origin/meaning
The arms show in the chief the lion of Aquitaine. The tower is the symbol for the Counts of Ornon, who had a castle here and the village developed around the castle. The golden colour refers to the white wines of the region. The crescent in the base refers to a bend in the Garonne river in the municipality.
