BERKSHIRE YEOMANRY, BRITISH ARMY
History: Raised in 1794 and disbanded in April 1828. Reraised 12 february 1831. On 1 May 1961 it was amalgamated with the Westminster Dragoons to form the Berkshire and Westminister Dragoons. In 1967 the two Regiments was again split and the Berkshire part become the A Company (Berkshire Yeomanry), The Royal Berkshire Territorials. Which in 1969 become 94 (Berkshire Yeomanry) Squadron, this is since 2006 part of the 39 (Skinners) Signal Regiment.
