History: Formed at Firbeck in April 1943.
Official blazon
A hawk volant affrontee the head to the dexter proper holding in its claws a shell sable.
Motto: Quovis per ardua = Everywhere through difficulties.
Origin/meaning
The badge symbolises the the Role of the Squadron in directing Artillery Fire to the Target. The badge was granted in March 1946.
