NO 764 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1940 at Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent (HMS Daedalus), Hampshire as a Seaplane Training Squadron. the Squadron become a use trials unit at Royal Naval Air Station Gosport (HMS Siskin) between 1944-1945. Disbanded in 1972.

Origin/meaning
The Latin Motto translates as "Tested by trials". The Badge was approved in 1945.
