Arms of Tornved

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1994.

The arms show a rose branch with a rosehip. These symbolise the nature in the municipality, and the thorns (Torn) are canting. The five small leaves on each of the leaves symbolise the five former municipalities that merged in 1970.
