LEUTH

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Viersen (until 1974 Kempen-Krefeld)
Incorporated into : 1970 Nettetal

Wappen von Leuth/Arms (crest) of Leuth
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1955.

The arms show St. Lambertus, the local patron saint. The fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Lords of Krickenbeck, to whom the village historically belonged. The whole composition was already seen on the 17th century seal of the village.
