Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in April 2018.

The arms show in the first quarter the the bell tower for the local church. The secons quarter shows a crosier for St. Léger, the local patron saint. The thirs shows the ruined tower of the castle of Castelnau de Cernès and the fourth refers to the pine forests in the area.

The blue of the first quarter and the wavy division line refer to the local fountain of St. Clair. The red of the third quarter is taken from the arms of the d'Albret family, former lords of the village.
