Origin/meaning
The arms have been officially granted on 12th July 1988.
The local castle (10th century) was owned by the Òdenas, who in 1287 sold it to the viscounts of Cardona, who later became the barons of Conca d'Òdena. The arms of the village are the ones of the Òdena family, and they show too the baron's crown.
