LEBANON (PENNSYLVANIA)

State : Pennsylvania

Seal (crest) of Lebanon (Pennsylvania)

Blazon

On a fess, between in chief a view of iron furnaces and in base azure a garb or, a chain fesswise undy between a cog-wheel and two bolts with nuts bend-sinister-wise heads upwards.
Crest: An American eagle without the shield.
Motto: Virtue, Liberty, Independence

Origin/meaning

These arms are listed by Chapein in 1935, but I have no information whether they are actually (have been) used.

The current seal shows the arms of Pennsylvania.
