Escut caironat: de sinople, una faixa ondada d'argent acompanyada al cap d'una espiga d'arròs d'argent i a la punta d'una torre també d'argent. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 23, 1985.

Sant Jaume d'Enveja is situated at the southern half of the Ebro delta, and the rice is its main crop. The arms show a rice ear, the wavy bar representing the river Ebro and a tower Argent (the arms of Tortosa), reminding that the village belonged to this municipality until 1978.
