Country : Lithuania County : Panevėžys Municipality : Kupiškis |
Lithuanian | Sidabriniame lauke raudonas varpas, ant kurio – auksinė Šv. Lauryno figūra. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 2023.
The arms symbolize the legend of the drowned bell of the Skapiškis church and the church of St. Lawrence, which has not survived, and the feast of St. Lawrence which is still held in the town. The silver colour represents water, and the red colour represents the past struggles for freedom.
