Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 15, 2004.

The arms are based on the only known seal of the village, dating from 1789. It shows the local patron saint, St. Margaret holding three canting marguerite (dog daisies) flowers in her hand.

The tools were added to symbolise the village of Rolova Huta and indicate the agricultural character of the village (Rolova is derived from a word for field).

Literature: Kartous and Vrteľ
