History: Raised in 1715 as Gore's Dragoons, become in 1751 10th Dragoons and Hussars in 1806. In 1969 amalgamated with 11th Hussars (Prince Albert's Own), British Army to form The Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales's Own), British Army
