Escudo partido: en el primer cuartel, en campo de sinople o verde, el castillo (en realidad, torre) de oro mazonado y aclarado de azur; en el segundo, en campo de azur, la cruz de Santiago; en punta, en campo de sangre, un racimo de uvas de oro con las hojas verdes, perfiladas de oro. Corona real. La cruz debía ser sobre plata, para no contravenir el poner color sobre color.
