History: First formed in 1944 at Royal Naval Air Station Burscough (HMS Ringtail), Ormskirk with Fairey Fireflies. Disbanded in 1946.

Origin/meaning
The Latin Motto translates as "Firm of purpose". The Badge was approved in 1944.
