History: Formed on February 15, 1941.

In front of a pillar on a mount a stag trippant.
Motto: Fortibus ardua cedunt = Difficulties yield to gallant men.
Origin/meaning
The Stag is from the Arms of the University and the Pillar is from the badge of the Home Command, the parent Command of the Squadron. The badge was granted in July 1951.
