Arms : Vert, issuant from the sinister base three piles wavy bendwise conjoined at the dexter chief point argent. |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 6, 1954.
The green field represents a green pasture and the white piles represent streams of milk. The cow in the crest is obvious. The supporters represent England (lion) and Wales (dragon).
